New Jersey has one of the highest concentrations of "senior citizens" of any state in the nation. The need for housing that suits the lifestyles of these residents, has been addressed by providing homes that are designed for the special needs of the fastest growing segment of our population.
We would like to be your source of information on Active Adult Communities in the state of New Jersey. We are attempting to put together the most comprehensive list of such communities and help you decide if the lifestyle is what you would want. So far we have found 182 such communities in 16 of New Jersey's 21 counties. We would welcome your input if you know of some we have missed.

Joining one of the active adult communities will probably bring about a change in your lifestyle. It is our intention to present to you the activities and programs that will be available to you. Each of the communities has its own feel about it and you will want to experience that for yourselves before making a descision to move to one of them.
